does trolling make you feel better about yourself?

Do you honestly think there is any proper way to answer your questions? What are "underground producers"? How do they "break through"?

Posted by BOOsTER on Jul-27-2007 21:48:

not really, but the topic is just wrong from the start...

I mean what once was underground is now getting more and more mainstream, what gets mainstream somewhere might be underground somewhere else...so unless the topic starter wants to receive just random flames, he should specify the topic just a little bit more...

and btw, my first reply can be as justified as your stupid over-reacting about my "trolling"

EDIT: Errrm, sorry if I knew you're the topic starter I would bother with a long reply...

another reason why the "music forum" should be put to rest.

Many of these were once famous, but have since slipped under the radar
Zombie Nation(had only one mainstream hit, of course)
Steve Bug
Signum
X-Cabs
J00F, maybe?
M.I.K.E.?
Electric Universe

how is MIKE and JOOF underground? LoL

Posted by SuspicionVandit on Jul-28-2007 06:54:

i don't really know who are 'popular' other than the insanely big names, but I'll just throw out Voyager (http://www.discogs.com/artist/Voyager or
Justin Scott Dixon), which appeared on Gabriel/Dresden "Bloom" with Someone Else

and no, he didn't die/fall off the earth like Discogs would (as always) lead you to believe

I think Carl B is underrated for his productions...

Posted by Sinnica Hax on Jul-28-2007 12:27:

when i think mainstream, i think "mctrance", "mccheese", "mcprog, or "mcelectro". joof and mike are none of that IMO, although not quite underground, as you say. Fringe artists?

I'd say M.I.K.E. is. But at the same time he's one of the best EDM artists ever. Ironic..
