What I assume you have in mind is the swoosh sound...

it can be either
- white noise with automated filter frequency
- very small grain of the hihat sound with automated filter frequency
- just a swoosh sample you can find in every sample CD

no it just aint a series of hits with volume envelope

anyone have song of Let the Light Shine in by Darren Tate vs Jono Grant?
the hi-hat sound comes in right before the melody starts to come in during the major breakdown

sorry i just dont know how to make a sample

EDIT: also in DJ Shah - Aguas Blancas at 1:56 AND 2:22

Sunlounger - Aguas Blancas (DJ Shah's Original Mix) [22,96mb/10:01min/320kbps]
has got hihats easy (to make) as fuck. I realy dont know what you mean now. use goldwave or ableton to cut out a sample from set or sinle track - its easier than you think
