How about you try Menno de Jong, Phynn or Kyau and Albert? They all wanna spin in NYC and they are good.

there are TONS of other djs/producers I would LOVE LOVE LOVE to see play in NYC but most likely not possible

MARCEL WOODS would be kickass (his ASOT 300 set was AMAZING!!!). I know a lot of ppl also love YOJI B and i wouldnt mind attending one of his gigs

having Talla again would be really cool though...even more ideal, Talla + someone AS notable (like the Cosmic/j00f/Askew event) well not that I would WANT three djs in one night, two AT MOST would be ideal

Hell yeah I want talla, he is great, and deserves a better system/venue than t-ny (no offense at ALL to the promoters of that event).

Oh I know, those are just some ideas for the future, I want Phynn to come to NYC and he wants to spin in the US, that name hasn't been thrown around...Talla was good at T-NY but I agree with you on the system/venue being less than stellar but that was the venue's fault.

IMO Marco V would be one of the most confusing events.. he plays straight up minimal tech now, no trance at all, the long time marco v fans who expect trance would be like wtf and the minimal tech house fans wouldnt know to go.

i havent heard trance from marco v in 2+ years. he has drastically changed his style.

hmm come to think of it, ive never actually heard anything trancy from him at least when I started listening to him but yeah it was more recent. i should try to locate and download some older sets and give them a listen, now im curious

every set i listen to from him is amazing so i dont care what he is classified as

Can't wait for Marco V to come to SF in October! Digging minimal at the moment

i wouldn't classify what marco v plays minimal techno. i listen to every set of his i can get my hands on and there is a strong techno element but not minimal. i don't know...anyhow yeah him too.
