i just moved into a townhouse and i was playing some fucking electro and i swear to god some mother****** banged on the wall each time i would turn it up to a reasonable volume.

is this for real or am i hallucinating.

u live in the projects?

right now i have my speakers uh against the farthest wall from the wall i think the banging is coming from.

so the sound is projecting to their wall

should i have it facing the other way or something wtf.

i dunno its just a townhouse complex. the floors seem soundproof but apparantly not the walls

god damn it hasnt happened again yet...i was really hoping it would so that i would know it wasnt happening cuz of my music.

I didn't think my music was too loud until one day a neighbor across the hall (not even sharing a wall with me) said, "Hey, I've been hearing to your music. It's good!" and I was like, "i'm that loud, rly?" Glad my neighbors are cool with it!

Play "Chocolate Rain!" and see what happens.

I would move.

there's nothing worse than having someone else's music pounding through your wall, or having to worry about whether someone else is getting pissed off about hearing your music. They're equally irritating, imo.

sound doesn't move down (at least not from speakers...stomping on the floor is another story).
