Critique my essay please

after an hour and a half, this is what i have:

quote:

Professor R

"Gender Wars are Stupid"
When God makes you a man, do no disappoint him.

works cited:
Eastwood, Clint
Norris, Chuck
Wayne, John

The topic is on how genders are viewed in America.
I originally typed up a fake news article from the (near)future where two miracle drugs were created to guarantee the gender of a child (take 1 and you get a boy, the other gets you a girl). It was grand, lots of (statistical)citations from the year 2004-2007, which allude to "gender booms" as research comes out that Males are better than females (or vice versa)
I really really should've asked my teacher if it was going to be OK to turn, because now he's fully rejected it. So now, gotta start all over and finish before midnight friday.

i realized trying to right doesnt work.Just write the same bullshit everyone else is about how its a sliding scale and anywhere on that scale is ok and society just needs to loosen up.

one of the reasons I dropped out of college hehe I refused to turn in shit like that but its what they want.

I'd actually be interested in reading your original essay - sounds like a neat way to get the point across. Such a shame that so few professors reward creativity, so long as the student demonstrates that they have researched the topic and really know a bit about what they are talking about. (And I mean real creativity - not just somebody doing something slightly differently than everyone else and suddenly we have to celebrate just how unique they are)
