The Star on your flag

Hi people, I have a question.
Last week I was talking asbout the "jews-star" that on your flag.

Well what is the exact meaning of this star?

dont know why, probely something do to with king david.

thats y they call it magen david
magen= shield

although they say in english star of david

Not true. It's symbolizes 7 stars (each of the little Triangels and the big "Star" that is the whole shape).
I think it's a star for each day of the week or something...

well this is shawl... and the blue stripes on it are also in our flag
