All right.., I really like my Numark DM1001X Mixer, and it is a great budget mixer with good features.. however after owning it for about a month.., My left side phono/line inputs are not working right.. I don't hear anything from my left speaker.., I narrowed it down to the left side inputs because i plugged my turntable into the right side phono/line inputs and it works fine.., I fiddled around for a bit and found out that there is something loose or broken with the gain knob.. cause if i move the gain around, the left speaker will work again then cut out after a while. I got a replacement but is this just a sign that numark mixers are crappy.. or was i just one of the lucky guys to get a defective one.. Does anyone else have this mixer and the problem or are there any other problems with this mixer i should be aware of..

I think you might be one of the lucky guys, I owned one for 3 years, before stepping up to a Pioneer DJM 500 and never had a problem.

haha. ya right. i thought i was the only one. i have a dm1002x and for the phono3 rca input only one side works. i am temporarly using phono4, until i remember to go to the store and get it replaced. anyway.. you are not the only one with this problem.
