Ableton Live Sets
Ok so Im using ableton live 6.0 and here is my problem

Is there any way using ableton to convert my finished set to an audio format (i.e. Mp3/m4a/wav)
if its not possible, is there another type of software i should use?

have you read manual ?
have you ever use a music software ? cause looking for export or save fonction should lead you to your goal ...
you record ur mix either in the arrangment view, or the session view. When you're done, press "File" and then "Render to Disk"... Use any other program to convert from wav to mp3 later on
Whenever I do a DJ mix in Ableton, I always do everything live and record using an outside program, unless i'm working on an edit or specific track.

well, my question seems stupid, but i ve read 100 pages of manual and i still dont have my answer. but anyway, the manual is ~400 pages, ill finish it soon. My main question is, can i do that ?
Most of dj, 95% of trance dj does not know what a technical mix is, they do correct beatmatching and they try to mix in key, so first view of ableton is perfect for them, they dont have to beatmatch, and some software can give them key. They warp their track, they name them with key, they have their little paper with key circle in case they dont remember it. And here we go, they are pro dj.
I've understand what are the positive point of each view in ableton, but i want a mix of this two view, is that possible ?
Anyway, i said check manual and you should take a look on that thing.
And not just the so leet answer RTFM.
To answer the original poster... ableton can only export sets in AIFF or WAV format. If you aren't doing all of your mixing "in the software" (meaning you are using an external mixer), then you'll have to record your set off the record out of the mixer just like with decks. Otherwise, just click the "record" button, play your set, and done.
As for the below... beatmatching is just the first step to learn to DJ, it's the first big hurdle. But just because you can beatmatch, doesn't mean you can mix. Mixing is SO much more than that, and harmonic mixing won't help you out either.

I don't think this needs a new thread as its related to ableton & djing. Is there any way to turn off the auto-warp feature of ableton. It gets annoying when warping a track and ableton adds markers at the end of the track in random positions.
It's under preferences
