what acts would make you think some is a whore? is it the number of ppl they have been with? the behavior or manner in which they act?
is a girl/guy a whore if she/he is very "adventourous" but only wiht someone shes in a relationship with?

It has nothing to do with what he/she does in bed (I dont think we need to be exclusive to women, here), but rather the amount of partners he/she has in any given amount of time, and the relationship he/she has with said partner.

For example, a girl came into town the other weekend and slept with a friend of mine two nights in a row. Had never met him before, had never talked to him before. She was only in town for the weekend seeing a friend, and now she's gone.

When you sleep with someone on the first night you meet him or her, youre dirty.

Though I can understand why you would think this, I must disagree with it as a general principle.

I would say that a whore, exclusively, is somebody who has sex solely for money or some other tangible or tactile compensation. True, consciously sacrificing your dignity for the sake of pleasing others, if only momentarily, is a low act, but I think that most people do not thoroughly consider the eventual consequences of devoting their bodies to other people. Most people are either quite confused, or simply do not choose to consider such things, but I do not think that they should be faulted and labeled for this in most cases - in fact, I think that everyone should consider how puritan a notion it is that those who are promiscuous are "whores". There is much to explore with our own bodies, as well as much to explore with others, and this, itself, should not be shunned. Rather, it is paramount to consider the emotional attachments that people form to such acts - and not the socially prescribed ones, but the real ones. It is detestable to knowingly bait people into emotional attachments just for the sake of experimentation, but that is some peoples' nature I suppose - both sides of it.

I do agree that it doesn't even have to be about sex though. However, "personal values, self-worth, and/or integrity" are all things that each individual should question at times. A person who clings to these things with adamant is not a whore, but is just as detestable; a prude. Not that there is anything necessarily wrong with them - it's just that a balance of whore/prude probably makes the healthiest arrangement. Timing is everything.
