Stephan Bodzin & Dave Seaman @ Avaland, September 8th, 2007
Stephan Bodzin is my favorite producer right now. Everything he's put out in the last year, whether with Marc Romboy, Thomas Schumacher, Elektrochemie, solo, or w/ Oliver Huntemann has been gold. I can't wait to see how he destroys Avalon's soundsystem with his twisted melodies and basslines. Can anyone confirm whether this will be a Live Pa or a DJ set, because he does both?
I can't wait for Bodzin to murder Avalon. This one is going in the history books. ![]()
Get it for Avalon brining in all these minimal/tech-house acts in. Audiojack is gonna tear that place up, and you can't expect anything less for the Bodzin night..
Really gonna be a siik span of music
Nice job Avalon. Digweed on the 1st and now this. I can't tell you the last time I was there.
i tried getting him in sf but none of the promoters would bite
I'm so psyched about this crazy German guy at Avalon this weekend! Who's with me? Apparently Dave Seaman's on the bill, too; I don't really care for him much, but last time he was here, he played a good set for the Kompakt Label Night w/ Mayer/Boratto. I hope this is a Live PA and not a DJ set from Mr. Bodzin, too, because that would only enhance my already enthusiastic state. This will be a good night - can't wait..

Sweet. I didn't know buckminister was playing on the terrace.
His website says he's playing a DJ set, not live.

see that's what i thought at first, but hadi's post had me confused lol
Come on Bas, don't be a pussy. Go! As for the DJ set, I think it will be good, but not nearly as good as his Live Pa stuff. Plus it's going to be hard topping Digweed's godly set from last Saturday. I wish this were a live pa instead. Enough of my wahm-wahming, this will be amazing.

| Originally posted by RzO He just played a progressive classics party here on friday for groove jets 10 yr reunion, dave's first residency in the states. All the way to the afterparty he was dope. It was simply amazing, but he was playing all the classic shit form his gu's and some new material which was also good. |
