High Res Event/Party Pics needed
Hi guys
Im in desperate need of really high quality party pics. Why you ask ?
Im in the process of building a studio at home and i want to have a MASSIVE picture up on the wall from any party, that to me captures the essence of the party... for example, those pics u see of people at trance energy when the lasers are going nuts and everyones hands are in the air.
I would like to see if i can get my hands on a high res photo of the music bowl, from the DJ booth looking out into the bowl... somethings from future music festival 07 would be ideal...
If anyone knows who can get me a pic like this, or if you can get me one yourself it would be greatly greatly appreciated. Post up a low res sample if you can. If i like the pic enough, i will reward you in some way (monetary or alcohol or whatever)... easy way to score shit if u already have something u think will interest me.
Thats a pic of the booth part of this studio im doing, either sides of the room will have desks with pcs and production stuff... Im interested in putting this mural pic above all the dj gear (yes i know im sick), i think it will create a nice warm atmosphere in the room. The printed picture will end up being like 2 to 3 meters wide and about 1.5 to 2 meters down.
what ya think ?
oh by the way i was just using future 07 as an example, any event will do, as long as the pic will have good res when blown up, and it captures good vibes

Expect to pay at least $500 to have it printed, then there's the test of getting it home with no creases/other damage.

I'm doing a similar thing but getting mine framed and it's going to be a lot smaller, around 1000x600.

But expect to pay ! The really good photos that can stand being blown up are going to be done by people who know a lot about photography.!!
great idea.. getting it printed on canvass would be even cooler.. plus your set-up looks uber sexy, specially with that lighting

IStock Photo might have some sweet pics u should check out...
search for things like "dance party" see what comes up?
maybe something like this would suit the current colour scheme of your setup..

i remember a while back seeing a picture of this dj having ciggie sparked up by some guy from the crowd... its a very intimate pic in black and white... would be perfect if i could find it big enough, these was actually some discussion over this pic in the dj booth thread...
il let you guys know if i make a decision or find anything that really takes my attention

Love the idea. Not sure I can help but I'll keep a look out for ya. Benny has some crazy shots but im not sure of how high res they are mang.

Makes any cool decent pic amazing and scalable / 'artistic' through vectorizing the image into dots.
