sydney lol

Theres a little army of us comming to Sydney for our friends 21st. We're staying in the CBD. Wheres good to go? We're all pretty much handbag house pansies, so anything like that is good haha. We really do not like rnb, so don't torture us with that.

Recommendations?

Tank nightclub perhapes

the tool shed, hands down.

Your hotel room will carry more atmosphere then any Sydney club or event I've been to *shrug*

Other than that, Home, Chinese Laundry? I don't know what they play though, just that they're well known ;p

I'm sure Erratik will post a list or some shit but here's a brief one.

Chinese Laundry - Saturdays are wicked, casual, not pretentious, nice chunky prog in the cave and handbag house and electro in the other. beer garden up top as well.

Home - Friday's is sublime, get on teh munt and listen to the hardest 'trance' evar! Saturdays is Famous.... 18year old's wearing fake bape and kidrobot hoody's. Fluro warriors unite, dress like the biggest douchbag since Biff in Back to The Future. Here you will fine your cheesiest of cheese. Ladies prepare to be hit on, groped, have your neck licked (yes it's happened to a friend)

Tank - nfi what goes on there these days... Dirty pop plays rnb and shit. Saturday's i think is Onelove, you melb ppl know what kinda music that is, on par with Famous.

Kink - Saturdays.. much like onelove and famous.

Hahah, but don't you find that its always the same people going out each week, and the music is never really that good? Perhaps it's just me. Sure it's fun, but after awhile if you're having the same kind of fun in the same kinds of places, it gets a bit tired.

I think I've found the solution, though: copious amounts of pre-drinking. Then, I can't even leave the house. It's cheap, and prevents me from boring others with my jaded ways

Funny, a friend of mine used to fly to Syndey every weekend to socialise for that very same reason; she was sick of seeing the same people every week in Melbourne. She got over it.

Just how cool are you if the thousands of interesting, different people in your city can't satisfy you?
