SAn AnTonio T.A. Friends????

Hello everyone,

I just moved back to San Antonio (from Atlanta) been gone for the past 8 years......Good to be back home!!!

I wanted to reach out to all fellow S.A. T.A.'s and try to meet up with you guys if possible in the near future at the next event(s). I am excited to see what San Antonio has to offer in EDM!!!

Had some questions, as I have been researching the scene/clubs/venues in S.A. If you guys could recommend whether or not to frequent these establishments and when is a good night to hit them up?

1. BLISS? When is a good night to visit?
2. Suede Lounge? When is a good night to visit?
3. POSH? When is a good night to visit?
4. H20 MEta Lounge? When is a good night to visit?
5. Dolce?
6. Swig?
7. DAvenPort?
6. Any other suggestions on Venues/Lounges...possibly >HRS. Clubs 3a.m.till DAwn???

Welcome back!

Check the Party Planner thread, it is updated regularly.

Dave is the GODFATHER of SA EDM, follow his action, he has a gig at Dolce on Thursdays, never to disappoint. He's also a very nice guy to just meet regardless. Dolce is a class place that you can safely go to any night.

Only been to Bliss on one occasion, small venue but appeared promising, good service, good drinks.

I only go to Antro for special events, been one on one other occasion and wasn't confortable being there.

The river walk stuff has been a disappointment to me, hit them all once and have avoided them since.

Thanks for the kind words Sir Waldron, but being the Godfather of SA EDM is like being the prettiest of Cinderella's ugly stepsisters.

Here's my take...

1. BLISS - Go on Saturdays...Eric Prydz, G&D, Sander K, etc.
2. Suede Lounge - Pretty place, but no electronic music whatsoever.
3. POSH - Cheetah print seats = Don't go
4. H20 MEta Lounge - Called Rain now...not worth your time.
5. Dolce - I spin there on Thursdays. It gets packed on weekends (Hip Hop)
6. Swig - If you wanna chill, I'll go with you. Its nice.
7. DAvenPort - Gone away

Thanks mwaldron and of course Mr. Molina for your detailed response really do appreciate it! I have been wanting to go to Dolce Ultra Lounge for sometime now...as the website has killer lounge music and looks like THE Place to be in San Antonio these days. Dave, thanx for the invite to SWIG we will have to get together to go. So Thursdays, huh? I will look to make it out to BLISS on Saturdays and of course Dolce on Thursdays...
