The greatest man that never existed?
I just saw the movie in entirety for the first time today and was simply amazed and humored by the themes and scenes in this movie. Is there any way NOT to agree with everything Tyler Durden talks and walks about?

Seri-fucking-ously, this scene was the best:

veterinarian in six weeks, you will
be dead. Get the hell out of here.
Raymond staggers to his feet, heads down an alleyway. Jack
and Tyler watch Raymond flee, then Tyler looks at Jack.
JACK
I feel sick.
TYLER
Imagine how he feels.
Tyler brings the gun to his own head, pulls the trigger --
CLICK. Empty.
JACK
I don't care, that was horrible.
Tyler walks away.
TYLER
Tomorrow will be the most beautiful
day of Raymond K. Hessell's life.
Jack watches Tyler go.
TYLER
His breakfast will taste better than
any meal he has ever eaten.

I wish someone had done that to me in middle school, and everyone for that matter.

also, 2 questions:
1. Where did jack shoot himself in the end of the movie? The cheek?
2. At the climax of Project Mayhem, was Tyler going insane with his ideas or was Jack too sympathetic toward the ideas of 'terrorism'?

yes, it's pretty easy to disagree with what tyler says. nevertheless, cool movie, and another movie brad pitt does a good job in. snatch, seven, 12 monkeys...wait, he's only good as crazy people. it all makes sense now.

he was good in Meet Joe Black and A River Runs Through It, he wasn't crazy in those unless you believe the Devil and a playboy/gambler are crazy.
