Ame - Fiori [Ostgut Ton]
Nice track and it spans for 16:40 minutes.....LOL....would love to drop this at the club and then have lunch till I have to mix in the next track.
SAMPLE
I'm not entirely sure if I would ever play it out, but it's fun listening to it while home.
Cool!
i'd like to see how Ame plays it in a set though.
I've been buying a lot of deep techno about that tempo
such a good cd.
I made the thread about the cd some time ago:

Fiori is brilliant, Ame's best this year so far. Epic.
wow I thought Balandine was epic. I'm still having trouble finding the right place to mix that song in and out.

this track is fucking brilliant
6/8 time with a buildup that drops in 4/4
i think more producers need to pay attention to this. the organic way in which the track weaves in its different sounds, rhythms, and meters is just superb
it's also very beautiful and understated, lush, a garden of sounds. guess that explains the title?
the percussive syncopated synth particularly is perfectly incorporated.. i would REALLY like to hear this in a club.
for all of the 17 minutes i am not at once bored but utterly enthralled with this track. it's epic in the most honest sense of the word.
maybe i just haven't heard enough music like this out there, but I have been personally experimenting in 3/4 and 6/8 time and i am really wanting to play a lot more music in my sets with a continuous 3 beat
also buying a lot of triplet feeling music recently
Sounds great, Ame kick some serious asses. I swear one day i'll kick someone's ass while carrying a big radio playing this track.
Fiori is legend. It pangs me to realize that more people can't experience musical mastery of this nature.
Finally this track recieves the praise it deserves
have to add -
does anyone else hear a little jean michel jarre influence here?
