pinky and the brain.

i forgot how hilarious this cartoon was. i remember watching it all the time getting home from school back in middle/hs days.

recently caught it on the weekend and was totally like "ohh yeah!"

a few clips -

for those of you unaware. it's this show about 2 labrats (mice?) one of which is completely obsessed with taking over the world. so they come up with crazy schemes but each time get foiled cuz the other mouse fucks it up by doing something dumbass.

probably the best WB cartoon characters for me.

Pinky and the Brain were just awesome. Really liked Yakko, Wakko and Dot too. Great show! Always found the theme music a bit grating but addictive.

of course go figure, when the show went outside of the Animaniacs stack, and was it's own tv show, quality suffered.

The cartoon in Animaniacs that really annoyed me was the baby cartoon "Buttons and Mindy". Some may say it was cute. I thought it was annoying. A funny one in a way was "Chicken Boo".

I had never watched the Pinky and the Brain in English, I didn't know Pinky was British

I like Pinky and the Brain almost as much as Freakazoid, both are great

Great cartoon. It's such a shame that shortly after these went off the air pretty much every new cartoon became crap. The only good one I've seen nowadays is Foster's Home for Imaginary Kids. I really wish they'd show more Looney Tunes and the like on TV.
