urban train/suburban train

ok so im sure this topic has been brought up, but im still confused about DJ tiesto Urban Train and Sub Urban Train

Are these two tracks the same? for instance, are both orig mixes the same?

AG seems to think so, and so do some record shops. so if anyone can fill me in on this secret, that would be great

thanks a bunch.

suburban = no vocals
urban = vocals

thats all there's to it

i remember something about the promo being called urban train and then the actual release got renamed to suburban but i am not sure about it. maybe someone else can clear that up. as far as i know, the retail releases do go by the format i just explained above.

then again i wouldn't bet against that your mp3 got mislabled because at the time, everyone just thought of it as urban train. even i had the same problem earlier but now i'm pretty sure i have it right. its been explained many times on this board already.

so many threads about this!!!!
the horror... the pain... someone plz help

i think that M.A.R.K has it right
cause i have suburban without vocals annd urban with...

i also have a live set rip of it labled urban but has no vocals... i got it a long time ago... when everybody thought that it was only urban

officaly, urban trian is the vocal versions.. suburban train are non-vocal versions. the first promo WAS called urban train and since most people swear thier faith on thier mp3s, this is what it's more widely known as..

with vocals:

urban train [radio edit]
urban train [original mix]
urban train [marc o tool main mix]
urban train [marc o tool dub]
urban trian [cosmic gate remix]
urban train [wippenberg remix]
urban train [wippenberg radio mix]

without:

suburban train [radio edit]
suburban train [original mix]
suburban train [way out west remix]
suburban train [marc o tool instrumental]
suburban train [wippenberg dub]

PS: Kirsty Hawkshaw is my GODDESS!!
PPS: yes this has been discussed 1000 times!!
PPPS: this is my favorite song of all time, see sig.

cosmic gate does.. you hear when she says "urban train"? that's called a vocal..

and your "original" urban train.. are you talking about a 12" or an mp3.. if you are talking about an mp3 then there was no reason to post that.

also.. i can't confirm this yet.. but the UK releases (the red/blue sleeve) is titled Urban Train.. but that's wrong except for the marc o tool main mix and marc o tool dub.

looking at the release from tiesto's own label, magik music:

A: Suburban Train
B: Suburban Train (way out west remix)
C: Urban Train feat. Kirsty Hawkshaw (marc o tool main mix)
D: Suburban Train (marc o tool instrumental)

what more proff do you people need? o_O

actually the VC labelled it correctly. it does say suburban for the original and urban for the marc o tool dub.

When tiesto first was playing the song I got a great digicam vid of him spinning the record. So if anyone wants to see it, ill rip it off a cd and send it. Reply or send me an email @ [email protected]
