Studying in a New Country

Well, since I'm going to Sheffield next month all the way from Bombay, India, it's slowly starting to hit me that it's going to be a massive change in life, culture, behavior etc etc

Anyone here have any experience of studying abroad? Any pearls of wisdom to share?
