Help with 3d card
I have a big problem with my 3D card!! i installed a driver from Nvidia.com and to only find out it wasnt ment for my 3D card, so i had to remove the driver. (Now im using 640X480 setting - Its horrible) I have been searching the web and Nvidia website and i have found nothing. what can i do ? do u know of any websites i can get the driver from?
Im using a Nvidia GeForce2 Mx200 32mb. I would use the cd that came with the card but i have lost it.
Thanks
www.glsetup.com will give u the latest OpenGL drivers for your card, as to the actual original drivers, I can only suggest searching through the nvidia website or emailing them.
the drivers at nvidia work for every card that has an nvidia logo on it. it should work fine with what ever brand your geforce2 mx is. i have a hercules geforce2mx and i use the driver from nvidia. i havent have a problem at any resolution.
i think that u should get the newest drivers off nvidia.com and use them with your card... they will work unless your card isn't a nvidia card... the latest detenator drivers will make that card fly...
Peace

yah theres no reason not to have the newest detanators...i suspect its an installation prob rather than a driver issue.
before installing goto Display>Advanced>Adapter>Change...>Next>Select the 'Display a list of all...'radio button>Choose 'Standard Display' from the top fo the list>and then VGA...
now your display will look really ghetto, but restart your computer and then install those detanators...it should be alright then...
otherwise i dunno/
did u check the refresh rate recommended for your monitor?
I went to the Nvidia web site and these are the drivers i found (LINK) I installed the top one and thats what caused my graphics to go all messed up in the first place. Im i in the right page for the drivers ?? (to get to that page i clicked on Support>Drivers>Windows 95/98/Me Drivers)
Thanks.
