Arrow Nhl

Are here some NHL or Ice Hockey fans? Or I am here alone? My favourite club is Chicago Blackhawks.

we'll have a thread going for the 2007-2008 season

Posted by chorche on Aug-15-2007 10:22:

Oh, really? Maybe admin can add that theme there. I am newcommer and I have still not so good orientation here. Well, but we can discuss also about megastars of the past.

...But NFL, MLB and NBA is not the same like NHL, because NHL is about Ice Hockey. I am bad informated?

Posted by stren on Aug-15-2007 18:31:

here, I'm a passive fan

Posted by chorche on Aug-16-2007 13:34:

Well, very good, two is more, than nothing. Did you interisting about NHL, or it is ice hockey as a game?

Posted by Ian on Aug-20-2007 12:14:

my brother is a die-hard leafs fan, since his gf & her family are, he's been taken into it. I myself haven't got a team as such yet, I like players right now, from good defence like dion phaneuf, Chara and I already dislike Chris Pronger, to good forward men, like crosby, sedin twins, tanguay, heatley, sundin, sakic, jagr and the legend in the making that is Alex Ovechkin

Posted by chorche on Aug-20-2007 14:59:

Well, Pronger is maybe raw boy, but he is high-skilled with the puck. I like players with great height. For example retired Daze - one of my favourites, Chara - smart giant, Pronger - great hockey skills, Sundin - one of the top forwards of the League, Marian Hossa - strong and great offensive weapon....

Still not expecting much from them this year, but it looks like the forming of a pretty solid core of skilled young players.

Posted by chorche on Aug-26-2007 17:52:

There is only one way to improve Oilers: sign some centers. It is team of the future, maybe.

Posted by Yohan on Aug-26-2007 17:58:

A Hawks fan?

You poor soul!

Posted by chorche on Aug-26-2007 18:05:

You are right! Some great draft picks is not everything. Hawks are 10 yrs. at the bottom of the NHL! That team was only once at playoff since end of 90`! Future is bright...(?)

Posted by treeboo on Aug-29-2007 00:03:

Im hoping for the Jackets to at least make it look competitive this year

Posted by chorche on Aug-29-2007 08:09:

Well, but they need too much luck and skills mixed in one. There is only Nash, other players are not some stars. They need to improve at each position. Young guns are in progress, but it is enough? I don`t think so. They are still quite weak.

Posted by Rockabye on Aug-29-2007 12:34:

let's go Habs.

Posted by chimera66 on Aug-29-2007 23:27:

I'm a HUGE hockey fan...specifically the NHL. I am also female so all hail my hockey knowledge . We starting another fantasy team???

Lance you've won two years in a row...can't let that happen again.

Posted by chorche on Aug-30-2007 16:43:

Wow, I can see, that I am here not alone! Well, Habs are now not quite good, but Colorado is on a right way! Ryan Smyth is great, great player.

Posted by chimera66 on Aug-31-2007 19:35:
