G+D - Tracking Treasure Down (Richard Gale Rmx - in progress) pure trance
hey
im working on a fun rmx of tracking treasure down. it is pure trance with very cliche vangard presets. im just doing a typical trance anthem style with it. something to work the big room trance dancefloor hopefully. ill make it full 320 download once complete.

any suggestions while its in the very early stages?

The Vanguard lead sounds really weak tbh dude, Vanguard's pretty rubbish for leads - it's just always got that really thin screetchy sound... good for effects but not leads IMO
Tbh the best version I've heard of this was the one Invertika did - absolute genius.
This sounds promising! I like the driving bass and the slow vocal, think it fits great!
Keep working!

i don't think that the vocals fit with the rest at all
hey guys.
thanks for the comments. i have just uploaded the update. i have tweeked mixing and eq a bit.
i will get the vocal sitting better and change the main vangard preset for something a little more fresh soon - this should make the vocals more at home.
thanks
don't know...think the vocals are off somehow, either melodically or timing-wise...can't really decide...but they seem a bit strange there to me...
And...that lead...is rubbish...really...
good job for a preview...but I think the vocals won't work in this style...though, maybe you'll surprise me, good luck Rich.
I felt that the lead and vocals were fighting to hold the melody in parts. Little akward at times. Looking forward to what you come up with sound-wise for the lead.
Percussion is a bit Nine Inch Nailsy, if you know what I mean.
