Saturday Events?

Hi all,
I am planning a party this coming saturday to celebrate birthday/finished with GRE...
anybody know of any events going on? Bar rio looks like its salsa/meringue or typical rap etc. meridian looks like its gone heavy metal/goth. rich's doesn't have anything. those are the big three that i know of, and i am hesitant to try some random place unless you guys strongly recommend it...
