Iraqi Black Hawk Down

Why are their no war movies out of Iraq till now? We have war movies from Kosovo, Serbia, Somalia, Sudan, WW1-2.. almost every war has its movie showing outsiders what it was to be inside..

But still we have no war movies from Iraq/Baghdad yet.. it would be nice to have a movie showing how US forces got fucked..

BTW I loled at Black Hawk Down several times where they showed US army guy killing atleast 100 Somalians before finally getting shot by some black guy.. and also how they did a 'slow motion focus' thing and played sad music everytime US soilder got shot at and showed Somalians getting killed like rats and cockroaches..

I guess you missed...

Jarhead
Gunner Palace

Next year, True Glory: The Battle for Fallujah debuts starrring Harrison Ford.

Every country has its time f8cking itself over. America is just in that time .

I'de say both sides got their asses handed to them. The Americans cut and run. The Somalis got focked up by American firepower. What was inaccurate about that?

quote:
Official U.S. estimates of Somalian casualties at the time numbered 350 dead and 500 injured. Somalian clan leaders made claims of more than 1,000 deaths. The United Nations placed the number of dead at ``between 300 to 500.'' Doctors and intellectuals in Mogadishu not aligned with the feuding clans say that 500 dead is probably accurate.

The kill ratio was at least 1:5.

In a movie depicting the India-Pakistan conflicts, I imagine the Indian movie makers will film a similar sequence for every Indian soldier killed by the Pakistanis. Will you lol at that too ?

I hope you're joking because I couldn't even get through 1/2 an episode it bit so much.
And it's not because of the background of the show...

I think the reason that there aren't any movies out is because no one has been outside of the green zone to see what's going on.

Based on what I've heard a media rendition of the Iraq war would be landing at an air port, getting escorted to a walled compound, and sitting around talking to soliders all day before getting escorted back to the airport.

"Over There"

I tried watching one episode and just about loled to myself and realized how horrid it was as a military-style show.
I love my war movies and stuff but I couldn't get past the stupidity of the tactics etc.
Waves of 'terrorists' running down a hill with AKs and no cover on Americans hunkered up on a the opposite hill? Yea right...

Ya I lol at them all the time.. where the Indian film hero soldier guy breaks into a disco dance sequence right before getting awakened by his fellow soldier partner and reminded that he is in a battlezone.. and than the hero also finds time to masturbate one last time to pics of his wife, before giving up his life for the sake of his country.. and yeah that slow motion focus thing and sad music is there too.. pakis cant kill him no matter how many bullets hit him.. he just carries on.. and he kills like atleast 500 pakis before finally getting blown apart from an air to surface missile or a tanker big shell.. so yeah, I lol at them all the time.

Thats all you got to say?

You see thats why I ignore you most of the time.. you have brains of a 7 year old retard, un-educated, poor, shanty/slum dweller.. Not your fault.

So next time I ignore your stupid question again, dont try to point it out trying to be a smart-ass... and make yourself look like an ass in the process..
