yeesh! what a read.

| Pentagon-contract study found that, between 1970 and 1971, ninety-seven per cent of the Vietcong targeted by the Phoenix Program were of negligible importance. |

hollywood video
Just read it.
At the same time I find it repulsing, I know this is common in my own country. However, rather than just punishing all those involved, it's important to find out what's behind this kind of behaviour.
This doesn't seem to be exclusively an American thing, given that (unfortunately) torture has been part of our History for quite some time.
Without reading, I'm going to give a really quick guess as to what this C.I.A article is about.

The U.S of A FAILING?
This is kind of old now, but I wanted to post it and this is as good a place as any. This country is falling apart, and Keith Olbermann is the only one (in the traditional media) calling it like it is.

I say we CTRL+ALT+DLT all the damn Government Parties and just run a New World Order. Not like any of them are doing the job ANYWAY. All they ever do is just bitch on TV and talk radio about the other is to blame when neither can get the job done. The world is corrupt, both sides, right and left wing. Lets all just get over it.
Well, while I'm still on the point, I was listening to that dude, Rush Limbaugh or whatever, I think I lost count as to how many times he said Brainwashed Liberal.
