Political Movies
You know purple gave me an idea :
What is your favorite political/historical movie. Not a Docu or docu wanna be like Micheal Moore shite, but just as an entertaining value....one that made ya go out and look up the FACTS,
Mine is The Hunt for the Red October.....

subs, political, action and the fact that I heard while in the navy, that they almost lost the Dallas on that movie; when they did the emergency blow shot....
and plus how I miss the cold war
it was so much simpler back then...
Oh! Oh!
For fiction ones, I like:
1. Traffic
2. Syriana

3. Clear & Present Danger
4. Lord Of War
5. Arlington Road

| Originally posted by Capitalizt I know this probably doesn't count...more history than current politics but: The Pianist <---amazing look at WW2 through the eyes of one man during the Nazi occupation. When I say amazing, I mean FARKING AMAZING. I missed this at theaters and caught it on TV a few weeks ago. It's right up there with Schindler's List and Saving Private Ryan as one of the greatest WW2 movies ever made. It offers a much closer (and frightening) view of life under the Nazi regime...truly a must see. http://www.amazon.com/Pianist-Adrie...87622893&sr=8-1 |

I couldn't get the link right in my original post so I deleted it...thankfully Laz quoted me above

Pianist in my #2 movie of all-time. However, it is non-fiction, and we're discussing fiction movies here.
