Do any of you here date interracially?

Just wanted to know what everyone here thinks about interracial relationships? and what their families/loved ones feels about it.

For me it's never been an issue really. Meeting people from different cultures is very fascinating. However my parents are very racist and growing up in a family of 5 children, (I'm the youngest one) I'm the only one to have had interracial relionships They are very racist towards blacks.

I'm asian but it seems like mostly the girls I've dated have been white . I've only had a few asian gfs. I was interested in this girl that was black but in the end I knew it would just never work so I never pursued it . I never really had in the back of my mind to just date outside my race, it just happened that way. You can't help who you fall for.

So..

1)what are your views towards interracial dating?
2)have you dated or are currently in an interracial relationship?
3)does your family approve? or would they?
4)are your parents an interracial couple?
etc....

I have no problem with interracial dating at all. Many of my friends and co-workers are of different cultures, and races, but when I speak to them, I dont notice any differences.

As far as I know, they would. He said he would have a problem with me if I was gay (he's quite traditional), but no problem about interracial relationships.

No.

Its too bad your parents are against it. I took an anthropology course in Uni, and we discussed the topic of race and genetics. Only the tiniest fraction of a persons DNA contributes to race, yet people put so much emphasis on race and skin colour when determining the differences b/w people. People have to learn to appreciate other cultures. Good luck with everything.

dad chinese, mom half chinese half russian <----- weird mix, i know

my current bf is also a mut (half norwegian, quarter polish, and quatrter italian). my partents seem cool about it. my dad might be having small problems but he doesnt say he does, my mom is cool
my bf's parents seem to be cool with it as well

i really dont see a problem with interracial relationships, maybe theres only a difference of culture (my bf cant stay away from my mom's food hehe) but other than that, we are pretty much alike
its only recently that there are more and more interracial couples, which is a good thing. ppl are overcoming culture barriers and seeing through color, something to celebrate i guess

1. i'm fine with interracial dating.
2. once dated a mexican girl (she was HOTT)(i'm a european "caucasian/white" boy)
3. family approves/will approve in future.
5. parents are european "caucasian/white" people
6. although i've mostly dated "white" girls....it just ends up like this somehow....

1)I don't have anything against interracial dating. I support multiculturalism so I'm cool with it. As others have said, it doesn't matter what colour the skin is. It's all about the person itself. Although i think kids growing up in interracial families can be hard. Personally coming from an interracial family it was hard growing up. I experienced different cultures and traditions. I didn't really know which race i belonged to.

1 & 2 : I don't see why race should matter when it comes to dating. I think it's great when different cultures meet. Being half-African and living in Norway, I've only dated interracially. (Even if I'm half-Norwegian, I wouldn't go for being white) This is not something i think over though. If i fall for a girl, race is the last thing i think about...

3 & 4: My mum is Norwegian and my dad is from Gambia (West-Africa) so the chance of getting trouble from my parents for dating interracial is pretty small.

1) I don't think the color of your skin matters one bit, it's more how much do your cultures clash, and can the differences be overcome.

2) Have never dated a guy that wasn't white/caucasian, but plenty of guys of other ethnicites attractive (esp. hispanic!!)

3) My parents are both Russian, and I spent my childhood there. Never saw a non-white person till I was 10. But, their approval would only depend on what kind of person they were.

4) No, 100% Russian, both.

i'm half german and half indian so my parents are an interracial couple. my girl is 100% chinese. my parents probably won't care although it's odd that my mom wants me to find a german girl and my dad wants me to find an indian girl. i told them a long time ago that i would probably find neither and to get used to that idea. my girl's parents won't like the fact that i'm not chinese but oh well. i'm supposed to meet them next month at her graduation. my sister married a hispanic dude. as one of my friend's said "you're running too many experiments in your family."

1. I don't really care. I'm a 100% white American, lol. So pretty much most of the world would be interracial dating to me. I don't see why I should cross 90% (or whatever) of the girls in the world off my list just cus they didn't come from my country.

2. I've dated a Puerto Rican girl, and a German girl. Both were INCREDIBALY hot! lol. I would be fine with dating a black girl, but my parents would freak. I dunno, I've fucked 2 black girl though, and my god, lol.

3. My famuily doesn't care as long as the girl isn't black. I fucking hate that. My dad is a redneck and fairly racist. Pisses me off bad sometimes with some of his comments. He doesn't know I've fucked a black girl, he'd be pissed, he's that dumb. But he liked my German & Rican g/fs, I dunno.

4. Hell no, lol. They both 100% white American. Like I said, my dad wouldn't go for that, ever.

Like I said, I have no problem with it. If the girl is hot, then it doesn't freaking matter!

I dont mind it, It doesnt bother me at all, My best friend is dateing a african american girl, And she is nice and cool as hell. But I honestly would not date african women. I dont know why. I'm not racist at all. But it just doesnt float my boat. I think black women are attractive and all, But I dont know, I just feel weird. My sister also dates a black man, And my parents dont mind at all. So I guess they wouldnt care if I showed up with a black women
