Burning a long set with a cue-sheets onto 2 cds

i know this has been asked sooo many times
but i need to know, if i split a file in 2, do i need to make a 2nd cue-sheet for the 2nd file? or does 1 cue-sheet work for both files?
i use feurio 1.6

can someone recommend a program for splitting mp3s?
ive split 'em before, but whatever shitty prog i used lost some sound data

i also want to know if i can burn the actual mp3 data file onto the audio cd aswell, without it being listed as a track on my cd-player?
(for backup purposes)

cheers for any help

the way i do it:

1)convert mp3 to wav format using any number of free conversion software out there.

2)Upload wav file to CDWave(also free on the net) and begin deviding set, or load cue sheet into CDWave to devide it. Save the devided set.

3)Determine how many tracks will fit on disk one. Say, a 2 hour set has 22 tracks,i just look at the wave table on CDWave and determine how many tracks there are up to the middle of the set, say 11. Go and burn tracks 1-11 on CD 1, and 12-22 on CD 2.

4)When you burn the tracks make sure you use the "disk at once" feature on your CD burning software so there are no pauses between tracks.

Any question?

i sue soundforge so i have complete control over the WAV file...it costs money tho, and can be killer on resources to do it that way tho...as for a second cue, you prolly have to do it by hand...which sucks but it will work/
