Man I hate hippies/protesters

Invading peoples personal space like that...cops can beat the shit out of you if you get that close, hes lucky that chicks a sweetheart.

Theyre unskilled and unemployed because they spend time making silly faces at cops, not the other way around

For instance, a hippy I know is going to a "Mass Zombie Gathering" in seattle. There are 160 people signed up for it and they are going to dress up as zombies and walk around saying "Braaaains"

This is what they do with their time. They dont learn another language or ...anything for that matter.

im getting depressed thinking about it.

...and one wonders how cops manage to keep their cool in embarrassing situations like these

for some reason I doubt "hippies" (who only existed for 1 brief time span) or the neo-hippy counter culture movement is responsible for the winning of the revolutionary war, the signing of the declaration of independance and the bill of rights, or the civil war.

as for the internet, again, im pretty sure Hippies didnt make it.

There are people who whine and people who do something. These people are whiners. A lobbyist is wayyyy more active and effective than a guy on the street wearing purple glasses and a rats-ass beard grinning his foul yellow teeth at a police officer.

While I appreciate your devotion to the idea of freedoms and change, you seem to forget that our forefathers did quite a bit more than walk around on the streets of london saying "YOU SUCK!!!!!" to the queen.

I am devoted to the idea of absolute freedom and change.

I don't expect to ever be satisfied, as the tides of khaki wearing tools grows ever larger, and hope dims out like firefly chemoluminescence in a jar.

hippies now a day are just burnouts with no real issues to confront. before they were burnouts as well but... at least they did something with their time.

Nerds are the ultimate engine of social change. Obsessive types working on technical problems and inventing stuff. Technology marches along, wealth increases, and political change follows from those.
