DJs who are "performers"
I wanted to know who, in your opinion are good performers - live.
By that, I don't mean DJs who are circus acts... but there are some DJs who are superb with their music, but terrible with their body language and crowd interaction...
Who's got the best of both worlds? Killer music + knows how to work the crowd with his/her body language and behind-the-decks energy.
abel ramos!

Hands down DJ TAJ outta San Francisco, 1015 Folsom's resident DJ
You can tell by the way he DJs, moves to the music and through his interaction with the crowd how much he loves DJing and the music!
Rabbit In The Moon.
Haven't seen or heard anything close as far as "live" goes.

Junkie XL
morillo...
i still dont know why poeple hate morillo, maybe i dont understand why because i like him alot.
hmm maybe Vath and Howells?
Tiesto..haha flame me all you want....he is not extremely technical and really seems to enjoy just playing music..doesn't really care if his transitions are spot on. To me performers are like Britney Spears..they don't need THAT much talent to entertain. They still pack crowds (well at least she used to).
Fatboy Slim, Eddie Halliwell and Benni Benassi.

I haven't seen many live, but from the few that I have, I think JOOF does an appreciable job.

Also, I've never heard of a RITM performance emptying out.
dh
Howells is a lot of fun, he really gets into it and has great crowd interaction. High-fives, smiles, jokes, hand shakes, and silly faces...the man does it all!
