New Pumping Hardtrance ala Cosmic Gate!
Aye, peeps......
new tune already again called Into The Night 2002, this time hard and inspired by cosmic gate and their new truth tune
.
Hope youll enjoy it, lot harder than my remix of Dan's tune.
So heres something for people with balls...........
Cheers,

It is indeed verrrrrryyyyy Cosmic Gatey.
First off, I liked the kick and the bass. They were both meaty and satisfying. I also liked the reverb-filled claps. The hats were good, but there was a few too many of them near the end.
Mark for beat - 9/10.
Let me just say that I hated the breakbeat. It just sounded so weak compared to the other samples - Get some better breakbeat samples, man!
Some loverrly layers.
The main chrous was ok, if nothing really memorable. The piano didn't fit in with the rest of the tune, IMO.
Mark for chorus - 6/10.
I liked the bit near the end, with the 'marching' style drums. Very original. But, the synth sounded out of place. Sort it out
Overall, I love Cosmic Gate, and this tune is very much like Cosmic Gate, so I like it. 7/10.
Hey, thanx a lot for the comments.......
i can assure it is all in tune, i admit that, the main theme could have a been worked with a bit more
....
And then marching drum section (or a 3/4 beat as many call it heh).
Im also 100% sure that the synths are in place there, i dunno if you have a hearing disability.....or........ but well they dont sound out of place to me.....
maybe someone could comment this too ?
Good work! I don't like hardtrance that much, and it's not very original (I think most hardtrance isn't
), but still goood.
Very well produced, and I don't think the synths are out of place in the 3/4 part
Keep it up

starts off good
great kick and bass
nice use of percussion
when the first synths kick in, they sound very good
nice and hard
so far im like it man
at around 3.04 for the breakdown
there is some great sounds there
nice pads, but the breakbeat part doesnt sound too good IMO
overall man
its nothing special
but its quite a good track
and i can say i enjoyed listening to it
well done
what software/hardware was used to produce it?
LoL Shoes, somehow that might have something to do it!
But atleast you had fun.
And Trancemaster, i can tell you its pure software.....Its pure good ol tracker ;-D
pure software...... trackers
so what do u use for your synth sounds??
do you use all samples??
is there any vst synths involved??
do you make ur own sounds???
or is it just samples??

Well, lotsa VST's alright actually.....
Trying to learn VAZ and FM7 decent, until then i use orion, quite a nifty proggy too.
But VST plugins for reverb/echo/flange and other stuff, but synths from orion mostly.
I'm inspired. I'm going to make a hard trance tune, or, at least, attempt to do so.
I need bass, though. What's that bass made in?
Shoes......
its actually 2 basses.
One is an old sample i found, the other is filtered Saw Wave.
and hey glad i could inspire you!
Very nice work on this one...
The production is clean and the sounds are good... especially the drums
I like the breakdown with the sorta phasing synth and stuff... and the melody is nice and uplifting...
But i disagree about the breakbeats... they are like the ones SHOKK has used in one of his remixes..and there good
The synth is abit weak tho IMO..
Paino is nice too...
Hmmm, theres too much stuff to mention here, but overal, its pretty dayum good...

great drums and bass. like it. I think the breaks need to be abit more dirty and distorted. what I love to do is make them at double the BPM of the song, (eg 280 BPM) and record in 96,000. then set the resample rate (without resampling) back to 44,000 in sound forge, and you end up with some insane sounding breaks going at the right BMP.
Really like the track. produced very nicely. think the piano sounds good in there. keep it up.
i'm gonna check it now, i'll be back later
greetz,
Wim @ LW
Dj Chrono:
thanx for the comments....but i made the breakbeat myself, but ill try to distort the samples next time ;-D
Lightworks:
Looking forward to ur comments.... you know your way around tunes.....
nice one there big mac! really like this one. although slightly weaker main lead... i was expecting a total climax here
but all the rest fits nice, the breakbeat is a good addition, and no let down to me. near the end, it reminded me of hypetraxx rather than cosmic gate though
i think the percussion is slightly less hard than in cosmic gate, but this is only better for me
great job man, this one's good!
laterz,
Wim @ LW
PS: you said you were planning on remixing one of my tunes, which one did you had in mind though? let me know
Aye wim
thanx for the great comments, i agree on the lead tho.
Well i dunno, i was thinking forever.....Are you ever on icq dude?
But if you will send me the fruity file with the melo, thats basicly what i need. The youll have to say what kinda remix..... since we havent quite defined the timelab style......
But mail me or something mate ;-D
