The Breakfast Club [Food Related]

what did you all have for breakfast today? I had a pretty awesome one:

Bowl of Banana Nut Crunch, 2 Scrambled Eggs, 4 pieces of Maple Smoked Bacon, 2 pieces of Toast w/ Peanut Butter, 1 Banana, 1 Protein Shake (Cookies and Cream flavored), 1 glass of milk, 1 glass of pineapple/strawberry/orange flavored juice.

best way to start your day is a healthy breakfast! or if not a healthy one, at least it's better to eat something than nothing.

And technically i've been up since about 5pm yesterday because of working wonderful nights. so even tho it's at the end of my day, it still feels good to eat breakfast food as the sun is coming up

i made a mango/banana smoothie and then i'm either going to make an omelet or heat up a pretzel and make some gyoza with it....

totally not the traditional breakfast, but whatever

pretzels (or pretzel-style bread) is awesome in the morning. thick doughy goodness.

smoothies are nice and healthy too. especially when you put real fruit in them (not the artificial crap from something out of a box/can).

yeah definitely... i love smoothies. i started making them myself recently. my sister makes fun of me for drinking smoothies and eating other foods. she says the smoothie is supposed to be the meal.

i love omelets though... with onion, ham, black pepper, green or red pepper and mushroom with cheese. oh my...

and "cracker barrel" grilled cheese are so good too

Here we go, If I wake up late or running late for work My top choice is McDonald's steak and cheese on a biscuit with an orange juice. I also stop at a local diner and order beer battered fish and hash browns for breakfast, I usually get a strange look by the waitress after that order.

I was just starting to get hungry for breakfast. I think I'll have some eggs and toast. hrmm, yes.

i totally misread that as "oatmeal" and thought, wtf oatmeal w/ onions? gross!!! but then reread it lol

i never used to be an egg fan myself...only until recently have i actually started eating them on a regular basis. or at least, on their own (not mixed w/ something). but still prefer just plain ol' scrambled w/ maybe some cheese or ham, but nothing fancy

I eat a bowl of Multigrain Cheerios every morning with skim or 2% milk. I follow that up with an apple or a banana as soon as I get to work. If I feel really crazy, I'll have a little turkey bacon in addition to the cereal. Hell, I eat all day. Like 8 or 9 times some days.

I was never an egg fan until I started having them with potatoes and sausage.

I take a potato, peel it, microwave for about 5 minutes, then cut it in thin slices and cook it in the pan with some butter for a few minutes until they're golden brown.

how could i forget breakfast potatoes and hash browns? and GRAPEFRUIT juice? what am i thinkng! i made too many breakfast potatoes last month and i grew a bit sick of them, but maybe i'll make them again sometime.

oatmeal is good with some brown sugar, nutmeg and cinnamon but what do you guys think about cream of wheat? i love it..i haven't had it in while though.

tubularbills, i used to hate eggs when i was younger. omelets are my favorie type of egg "style". i don't like hard boiled eggs.

You know what I got for Christmas? Oh, it was a banner fucking year at the old Bender family. I got a carton of cigarettes. The old man grabbed me and said: "Hey, smoke up Johnny!".

Posted by Omega_M on Aug-23-2007 13:43:

I had a bacon egg and cheese biscuit, blueberry donut and hot coffee

Posted by Domesticated on Aug-23-2007 13:45:

I usually hate these kind of threads, but...

CRANBERRY JUICE FTW!

Haven't drunk any other for years.

Organic French Roasted Sumatran w/ half & half and a touch of turbinado sugar.

I also have a Ritalin my boss gave me to help me move, so I might have that too.

Breakfast of motha-fuckin' champions, yo.

I just can't eat in the morning, it makes me sick. Just a cup of coffee will do and I'll manage straight to lunch.

i used to be like that in high school....if i ate breakfast, i'd be starving by 9am. but if i didn't have anything to eat, i'd be fine until lunch at around noon-1pm
