Two pigeons did this on my balcony...

laid (made) an egg. So should I:

a) let nature takes its course and do nothing
b) do a clean sweep of the balcony considering there's shat everywhere
c) serve breakfast to some chump who always owes me money

need your advice... this takes priority over any 330k lawsuit thread

Poll would've been better.

If it's in the way:
b) Do a clean sweep of the balcony considering there's shat everywhere

If it's in some kind of nest and out of the way:
a)let nature takes its course and do nothing

I'm not expecting 60-70 replies. Funny, the male pigeon is sort of watching over and seems to be the more chicken of the two if you approach the nest. I left a folding chair there and they had sex in there

yeah, I was thinking that.. but a guilty part of me doesn't want to call hitmen after an egg.. considering I did away with a baby mouse recently with a sticky trap

Idiots in my apt think these birds are pets, then they feed them and of course they release their bowels all over my patio

Get a cat

Incubate the egg, hatch it and raise the pigeon as a pet!

There is some good information available here and here

the egg. i want to know if u peeing on it (once or more times) affects whether or not that will continue to care for it... or what the pigeon parents over all reaction/behaviour to that will be.

im honestly curious.

Perhaps consulting an ornothologist would be a better method to determine the effects of urinating on an incubating egg, as opposed to spraying your lemonade all over the balcony.

Just a thought.

Nobody else thinks it would be fun to pee on this egg? Haha

Oh well.

Why the hell would you NOT want to have a piegon as a pet?

Each summer I want to try and find a Kestrel nest so I can raise one. They only grow to be 9-12 inches, the smallest raptor in the Americas!

These birds got a lock on me when I was very young and I've always hoped to find an abandoned nest.
