omg cant wait!!!

The first one sucked. Badly.

Even though I know I'll end up seeing this one (just because it's an Aliens movie), it fucking better not be as shithouse as the last one

the John Rambo trailer has a nice neck gouge.

*meh*, the first film was a complete shitfest. The directors have an extensive backround......in music videos and commercials :/.

Yeah, ok, thanks for the copy/paste. I've seen music videos and commercials that were way better than a lot of those movies.

I think I got the gist of the entire plot of this one by watching the trailer. That and it's the usual regurgitated formula-crap from the people who bought you last years movie with the 90sec intro of comparative calm, 3minutes of extreme violence, 20minutes of bewildered acting, 40minutes of SFX, violence and death. Cue 90sec boob shot/muddled and confused lust interest, followed by 10mins of final showdown fight with the big bad guys.
Run credits full of 5seconds of actors you've never heard before and 15minutes of SFX technicians, stunt monkeys, people that hold microphones and no animals where violated during the making of this travesty of digital media.
Get your $4.50 sundae on the way out, go home, forget you saw the whole thing by the next sunrise.

Looks like a bag of arse to me....just horrible.

Posted by Cloudburst on Aug-25-2007 09:58:

I know I will watch it, but most likely I won't enjoy it.

Doesn't change I still have to watch it.

Posted by Xenocreator_PG_ on Aug-25-2007 11:25:

Thank fuck there is gore in it. Seriously Aliens & Predators without gore is like porn without anal. The first AVP sucks arse big time. This one already looks to be alot more promising. I'll probably watch it. But, what is with the present day setting? Setting it in the present ruins the whole time line of the legendary original Alien movies!

oh well, this one looks like fun anyhow...

Posted by Acton on Aug-25-2007 11:28:

im a massive fan of the aliens/predator films, and i cant wait to see this one.

its got to be better than the 1st one, as it was a total shit fest, but had the potential to be a great film, it was just ruined by shit people that made it. this one looks a lot better though, and i hope it doesnt get ruined.

..........and was it me, or did i see an alien/predator hybrid in the trailer?.......its to be expected though really

lol i did indeed!

just wondering how they would incorporate it into this one though. and i might be going mental, but i think the hybrid goes invisible in the trailer

Posted by Spike on Aug-25-2007 12:38:

damn this looks pretty fuckin awesome. and i was just about to make a predator appreciation thread. looks like they ironed out the kinks from the last movie and upped the violence 300%. me happy now XD

Posted by Orpheus Is Dead on Aug-25-2007 12:47:

I'll watch it... and I'll probably enjoy it...Like I did the first one... man... I don't watch aliens vs predator for award winning screenplay. I watch it to see aliens and predators kick the shit out of each other.

Maybe that's the Requiem, in honor of those two that died in the first one because of lack of firearms lol.

at least that one didn't have the bs politics that this trailer's already incorporated. why people can't just make a movie where some other lifeforms mutilate each other without bringing their own propaganda into it is beyond me.oh well. if I cared enough, I'd never watch anything. back to the gore.

probably because the whole ship got overrun by this 'hybrid' earlier on in the movie. I'm sure there are plenty of dead ones.
