Need help from computer geeks
Few weeks ago, I deleted my external USB drive. Tried many programs but none seems to work.
Everything on it can be replaced, except for 5 yrs of music which is important to me.
Any recommendations from TOTA? (ie a good program?)
Thanks

you can pay big money for data recovery. unless someone here can teach you (or offer) to do it.
if the tracks were all from beatport ive heard of them letting people re download their collections.
i once lost a usb key drive in guvy, but i guess thats not the same thing. sorry for your loss buddy!
If the USB device shows up as a drive letter in my computer just use any old undelete or format recovery software on it. ie. Active Undelete or Undelete 5.0 Professional
Just make sure you don't write any data to the drive otherwise it'll overwrite the sectors you might want to recover.
Good Luck, PM me if you get stuck
try get data back..works for me

DON'T WRITE ANYTHING ON THAT DRIVE!
is it NTFS or FAT ?
get a software called GETDATABACK http://www.runtime.org/index.html
You can download a demo, you can see the files with the demo but not recover them.
You can always find a cracked version somewhere, but if its really important, just buy a licence (and send me a copy hehehe).
cheers
Ctrl+Z
yeah what Malek said, even though the files are deleted it's still physically there, but adding anything or installing stuff on it will make sure that the old files are gone.
if those software don't work, there's a place on Bloor St. which is one of the best in North America for data recovery but they charge A LOT
if its a format with nothing written on the drive, files should be there intact and easily recovered by getbackdata.
I did the same mistake many times (and you think i would learn from my mistakes...)
Get Data Back is what you're looking for
