Question DJ Tiesto - Live at Energy 2000 adding on first 15 minutes of 73 min version, HELP!

I have both versions (73:03 and 66:34) of DJ Tiesto @ Energy 2000 and since the first 15 or so minutes were left out of the 66:34 rip (WHY?), where's the best place to merge the two parts? The 73:03 version was to be the full version but, whoever was recording the set STOPPED the recording and FADED it out during the best track in the mix! The 66:34 version, however has the last 2 tracks, in full but, the first 15 minutes that were included in the 73:03 version are left out! Both recordings are of different bitrates and volume levels so, I think this will be hard to do. My 73:03 version is 128 kbps and normalised, while the 66:34 is 160 kbps and NOT normalised YET. Is it better to cut the last 58 minutes of the 73 min version and add that to the 66:34 or the opposite? And what should I do about teh volume levels? I need some help from whoever has done this before so, ALL HELP WILL BE GREATLY APPREACIATED! Thanks in advance!

i did this almost 2 years ago...but i was lucky and found both sets in 160 so i didnt have to worry about that...but i suggest u join them during Zombie Nation since i BET u dont even listen to that track anyway...since u know it sucks....and who cares if that track messes up with the joining (if thats possible) but thats what i did and mine is full version starting with Millenium Strings and ending with Airwave...

someone else will have to help ya with the volume and bitrate questions...cus like i said mine where both 160 and the volume levels where perfect...

Well, I guess I'll have to just DL the 160 kbps version of the 73:03 version... Then, join it at Zombie Nation (I HATE that song!). I don't care if ZN messes up since it's a bad song already. How much more messed up can that song be? THANKS for teh info. How long is your version, anyway (the new, joined version)?

but anyway...my JOINED FULL VERSION = 81:53...and like i said starts with Millenium Strings and ends in Airwave...but to be honest it didnt even mess up Crappy , oooops sorry, i mean Zombie Nation...not that i would of cared...but its fine...

A friend of mine said it was DUMB to make 2 CDs for the extra 2 minutes with the full version...so he just cut his Zombie Nation out of the set so he could have it on 1 CD...that made sense to me but i wanted the full version even with Zombie Nation only cus only then is it really compplete...lol...i am shot...good night

I always use Mp3DirectCut - it's a great tool for editing mp3 files directly!

It's very small but with many functions - I love it!
