hmm... its all about tastes

at 60$ you have the Koss portapro's, very ugly but good bass and solid design

at 100$ go for Sony's, forgot the model, just check at future shop and ask to try them... bring your cd player and listen to your favorite tracks so you can be sure its the right sound you're looking for.

700s are out
900s are newer but with less features

I currently have the Sony MDR-CD380 which i got at christmas for $80 from Future Shop. They sound very nice and have a really long cord!
