Canadian International Airshow
Its back people.
Get the fuck out there and see some fine machinery
I was actually at sunnyside pool on lakeshore today and got a early preview of the show...the fucken jets were doing practice runs pulling loops and barrel rolls and all kinds of crazy maneuvers in between...and when they speed up and do low flybys it was LOUD AS FUCK. Quite nice while sitting by the pool gettin a lil long weekend tan.
nice, i heard them today but i didnt see anything,
im super pumped for this year, cant wait to see the F22, last year i missed it coz of the rain and it didnt show up the day i went.
I want to see the F22 Rapture, they don't have a schedule on the Air Show website, anyone know times?

i work on the 38th Floor of the TD Tower and saw them doing some test runs as well this week .. pretty cool stuff.. free too!
I'm going on Sunday!! I passed by a couple hangers on airport road yesterday and saw some of the big transport planes and the Canadian snowbirds outside. From what I was told the F22 raptors will be at the show but they are heavily guarded by US security so that's why they prolly haven't released any scheduling info.
edit. lol a couple fighters just flew by my building as i was typing this. oh the excitement!
holy shit, the F22 raptor is dope. the roller coaster kind of loop that it does is amazing.
Notice the smoke as it does that maneuver ? I think its a shock wave that develops around the plane as it suddenly changes direction.
I've never been and always wanted to go. I've never actually seen a fighter jet ever!
What day do you guys think is the best day to go? or do they do the same stuff everyday pretty much?
I had a good time at the ex yesterday... I didn't cross over to the Ontario Place side, but I did see a jet to crazy stunts in the air, and once almost hovering, flying forward slowly, so I wonder if it was the Raptor.
Went to the air show Sunday before LoL. The weather was much better than last year (rain) - which made it way more enjoyable.
I will continue to go every year as it is a real treat to see these aircraft in action.

Went to the airshow yesterday and got to see the raptor. We got to watch the show from the top of Atlantis nightclub (it cost $5 and they were serving booze). I must say the raptor is quite the aircraft to watch. That being said, it quite funny to hear the announcer say that it is the most manuverable aircraft in the world even though the MIG-29 (correct me if i'm wrong) has had thrust vectoring for years now...

Went to the airshow on Saturday. Very very cool... the F22.... oh shit
And the old plane from the 40s, so fun to see. Definately thought he was going to end up in the lake. Fire from plane = ohhhh no
I live on Queensway and Windemere (South Kingsway exit of Gardiner) on an 8th floor...I thought our neighborhood was being bombed..That was so scary
They literally were just above my condo building, too close...
