Rapidshare

Don't have a premium account, and that waiting time between two files is a pain, but i noticed today that if i shut down my pc, and after 4-5 minutes switch it on and try again, the waiting period is gone.
Been doing it all day today, is it the same for everybody?

I always use www.transferbigfiles.com for my dumping needs. No waiting period and up to 1GB. Maybe there are some advantages to using Rapidshare that I'm not aware of.

so how many times did you shut down, wait for a few minutes and restart your PC again ?

I was talking about downloading, not uploading

about 10 times, am downloading a....uh...uh...'file' that is split in 26 parts, and i get speeds of 30 kbps, so im on part 11 or 12 right now.

Might sound funny, but these are 100 mb parts, and there would normally be a waiting time of 2 hours between files.

In comparison 3-4 minutes is much better eh/

Doesnt that simply depend on your IP adress? In your case, disconnect and reconnect to internet....

Nope, that doesn't work at all. This pc shutdown/restart thing does though, which is weird.
