Gatecrasher - Immortal [Ministry of Sound]

Gatecrasher - Immortal [Ministry of Sound]

The latest Gatecrasher release comes after their Gatecrasher ONE club burnt to the ground a few weeks ago. It was a place where many clubbers can remember the energetic music and atmosphere that made the venue so popular. The venue had been host to the worlds finest DJ's and had one the best sound systems in club land. The loss of the club is huge to the local area and I for one hope they build it back again better than ever.

This compilation is a celebration of everything that made Gatecrasher good back in its most popular days and jammed with classic track after classic track. It's mixed by the original residents at the club Judge Jules, Scott Bond and Matt Hardwick.

How many times have they done this now?

Let's take a bunch of tracks everyone has heard, cram way too many of them onto a disc, make it three discs, add

4. Anthem - Filo & Peri/Eric Lumiere

Voila!

'Cause no one has EVER heard any of those tracks at all in the history of the entire fucking cosmos.

Seriously, these guys are getting worse than Beechwood Music.

Jesus Christ. This is the fourth GC classics compilations in two years.

it's obviously working for them...

The thing that REALLY pisses me off about this release is a blatant omission.

How can you have something titled Immortal and NOT have Techno Syndrome by The Immortals on it???

Posted by chesco on Sep-05-2007 21:15:

pathetic.

No this isnt a rehash to make money, not at all...

The crazy thing is that people must be buying these classic cds they keep releasing else they wouldnt release them.

My question is "WHO??"

When the first classic crasher came out, fair enough many people will buy it for a good claasics cd. But this is the 4th or 5th now. All with the same classic trance tunes.

Surely when you take away those of us who own all these tunes on other cds from the actual time. Then take away those who bought the first or 2nd classic cd (or one of the godskitchen ones which keep coming out), then who is left to buy this?
