Yeah, I really enjoyed opening for Sean. After seeing him do his thing for years at Boa-Redux/Sonic when I was a promoter - I jumped at the chance to open for him when this date was confirmed.
I stayed pretty contained sound wise, dropping some fluttery proggy stuff, chugging along at 123bpm... crowd was up for it though for sure. Very enthusiastic, and there for the music - sketch factor was non existent in the beginning.
Sean came on around 7pm, giving me an extra hour to do my thing.... and he started off on the groovy tip. Laying down some chunky, techy beats... but as his set progressed, the more intense things got. Fuck he had that place in a frenzy. Never have I heard sean play as bangin, uptempo or just plain massive as I did on Sunday. The last hour of his set he was pumping it out 130bpm, of just insane bigroom bombs.
