"Electronic Music"

Ok... Even though this may seem like a STOOPID question:

What are the differences between trance, progressive trance and techno?

When responding, could you please give song names as examples?

Trance is just a genre of electronic beats, usually running between 125-145 BPM's, but it is renowned for having a certain beat structure (16 or 32 beats). After each set, a new synth (sound) is thrown into the mix. This has been played off a lot, henceforth, what people call "progressive trance". Even though it is nothing like House music, it is the pure layered shit. Examples would be 3 Drives on a Vinyl - Greece 2000, Digital Reason - Ashtrax, Push - Tranzy State of Mind (Club Mix), etc. Techno is much more repetitive, tends to be much less emotional, and tends to have incredibly rich bass. Hope my definitions helped you out somewhat.
