he had a good innings, made a lot of people happy, couldn't do an awful lot more, and at 71, he's lasted longer than some people, so I can't say I'm particularly heartbroken. Sad news none the less.

i really appreciated Pavarotti's work. he had an extremely powerful talent.
i said to myself a couple of years ago, theres a few things i need to do before i die, one of them was to see Pavarotti..........shame i left it to late
one of the others was to see meatloaf
......i need to see him before he kicks the can as well
