Anyone heard of hybrid?

i walked into a mac shop today, and they had a hybrid set pumping around the shop, was the most illuminating trance sound, very chilled easy to listen too.. had never heard of them, i read now that they are more breaks?

does anyone know any good sets that they have or any recommended material of theirs. id like to investigate

LOL, trust me everyone here knows about Hybrid.

they're only arguably the most successful breaks acts of the last 10 years, alongside way out west, and stanton warriors. I don't think everyone's heard of them yet though.

quite possibly one of the best electronic music acts ever formed

check out there albums to get a better idea of what there like...........they wont dissapoint

heh i guess im not surprised. im listening to one of their sets now. and it is incredibly good..

i know NOTHING about breaks.. other than one artist with a similar name called hyper which i came accross when i started to look at breaks for a bit 6 months ago.

any awesome sets of theirs that you feel like recommending PLS do..

hyper is also very good. Right now the breaks scene isn't suiting my tastes as much, but there's always some good tracks/edits around.

In my eyes, one of the most overrated acts around. Although Hyper are equally poor. Both can only grasp the aesthetics of music.

If you like the combination of orchestral arrangments and breaks, Rob Dougan is much better at it.

I always thought Hybrids remixes were far far superior to their own productions. Maybe that's just me

Never really liked them. Their music sounds too much like a soundtrack to some blockbuster action movie.

seen hybrid a few times. live once, dj set the other. such an awsome style.

You've probably only heard some of their tracks then. Not all Hybrid tracks are epic as such, and even so, their string-based productions are top quality.
Whoever says that Hybrid falls short of being one of the best electronic groups around are smoking some serious shit...
If you like Hybrid, check out Trafik. A little more funkier and dirtier, but quality breaks nonetheless.

Finished Symphony will never get old.

Also see AFK, Retroid, and Oracle for some recent breaks guys carrying on the ol' Hybrid style.
