I don't like most pie.

apple pie (helps with strudel on the pie)
blueberry pie
certain types of meat pies

FOOTY PIE

pumpkin pie. pecan pie. strawberry rhubarb pie. blackberry pie. lemon meringue pie.

yeah i'm a big fan of pie.

a good pumpkin pie is always nice, as mentioned, carrot cake, also a very awesome choice.


man, carrot cake is really good.

actually now that i think about it, pumpkin pie is probably my least favorite, unless it's covered with whipped cream.

question- is pie better cold, or warm?

wow, i cannot believe i forgot pumpkin pie! where is my head at? pumpkin pie cheesecake is so awesome too...

i scrape the whip cream off of the pie if there is any on it. i don't care for it. i don't mind warm pumpkin pie with ice cream though!

honestly, i think the reason why so many people dislike pumpkin pie is because they just haven't had good pumpkin pie. store bought pumpkin pies are fucking gross, and if that's all i'd ever had i'd probably hate it too.

it's all about the spices. gotta get the spices just right. i haven't made one in years but my mom and i always kicked ass at making pumpkin pies... just might have to cook one up this Thanksgiving!

also, i hate whipped cream or ice cream on my pies. if a pie is cooked right there's no reason to contaminate it with that shit.

depends imo. cheesecake is best with a big fucking gob of fruit preserves or whatever on it. plain cheesecake = meh. damn this thread makes me hungry.
