Help: Computer Audio Problem

I recently bought new Motherboard/CPU Combo: AMD Dualcore 2.00 Ghz X2, 3800+....

First time i reinstalled windows everything was ok in software recording,
than i had to reinstall it again, I installed cubase again and few soft synths....
And when I record the system get stuck a little about every 2 minutes, a buzz and slight freezes..... that messes up the timimng...

What can be wrong?

I'm using same Emu1212m Audio card from my old PC...

I tried completly uninstalling Emu 1212m and using realtek drivers with Motherboard inputs/outs..

but the problem is still there...

thanks in advance.

disable your mobo's on board sound card in the bios

I disabled the integraded audio in BIOS: slight improvement
tried using onboard audio: same/a little worse results
tried different Asio drivers: even worse results

when this happens CPU is about 20% in use, like usual...

there were times that CPU went to 100% and all the audio and everything got "stuck", don't know why it jumped to 100% , happend few times....but that's different

check the temp on your CPU. Did you put an ample amount of Thermal Glue on it? It may be overheating and as a safety measure, severely underclocking itself so it doesn't blow up.
