So, I got my finger stitched today...

Because a friend of mine accidently cut it open (I could literally see inside of it) with a knife (souvenir from Prague) during school recess...
Obviously he wasn't aware of how sharp it actually was.
Never thought so much blood could come out from a single finger...
Oh, and the stitching was done without anesthetic. That was the most uncomfortable feeling I've felt in my life.

Just thought I should contribute the c0r with a thread like this.

Nah, it was an accident.
He took the knife and pretended that he was holding me as an hostage and I tryed to get his hand away from me.
One bad move and damn, blood leaking from my finger like crazy.

18 in less than a month.

Here we have 8 grades of elementary school, 4 grades of high school and then 3-5 years of college. I'm in the 4th grade of high school right now.

Recess for me was a 45 minute period where we played kickball, dodgeball, and played on the playground!

Well, I've heard you Americans use that word in movies and series I've seen on TV...
But yeah, now that I think about it, it was used mostly in elementary school.

in high shcool we had 8 periods (50 mins each) with 5 minutes between each....one of those periods was lunch.

my last year was awesome, cause i only had 6 and got to leave early.

in college, it classes were 50 mins long, and always started on the top of the hour (or ten after, if it was in the afternoon). so you had ten mins to get to your next class....which sometimes sucked if you had to hike across campus.

Advanced science degrees, and right now I'm working in the Ob/Gyn division of U of Illinois' Medical Research Facility. My time is split between being a project coordinator (keeping track of all the baboon colony) and a research specialist (bench work / experimental side).
