Sweden?

Hey, I'm in Sweden for the next year, and as long as I'm over here, i wanna go listen to some good music. House preferably, but I guess I'll listen to anything at this point. Any big events in the area also? Thnx

edit: o ya...I'm in Uppsala, near Stockholm..thanks again

I honestly don't know but, if you do find some events to go to, they will be much better if you take one of THESE.

ABBA

Posted by Leferikson on Sep-08-2007 22:17:

ya...thanks Ygrene...i'll take it into consideration, but I think I like my Oreos bite sized..

Uhm...o, I posted this in the Swedish forum, but unfortunately I'm studying here for a year from California, so I'm still in the process of learning Swedish, and therefore, no responses thus far.

I was hoping somebody would just know a few popular clubs in Stockholm or Uppsala, or if the Swedish house mafia had a residency somewhere, then I'd be more than happy to go seem em. thanks anyway though : ). Anybody know of such places to hear some good house musik?

Are you already here? In that case you should come and see Carl Cox in Stockholm this Saturday (the 15th)! I'll be there!

This is arranged by Monday Bar who arranges all types of events in Stockholm such as weekend cruises with only edm etc. (http://www.mondaybar.com/)

I don't know much about Uppsala.. I've only been to the different "Nationer" (student night clubs) there, but they're pretty nice too for ordinary drunken fun

Wow, thanks Jeremy, that is actually the most perfect answer to my question I could Imagine. although the site does look grand and informative, I'll put it off until I can read a little bit of Swedish ^_^. Depending on the train schedules back to Uppsala, I will probably be there this Sat. Thanks again man. If anybody else has suggestions too, I welcome them all. Thanks all.

Try this club in Stockholm...

Adam Beyers new night yesterday was fantastic...

Speaking of the housemaffia, I think Steve Angello has a monthly recidency at this club. I dont know when the next one is though.
