Tracklist looks good.

"UNKLE - Burn My Shadow" is seems to be getting hammered everywhere. Nothing like the original i must add.

I'll go out on a limb and say that every tracklist I see from Seaman these days just gets more and more bland...


Theres some good tracks in there, some ok ones, alot of knowns though, too many artists I've heard before imo.

From a DJ's standpoint I would agree with that, as most are available. But if your just an avid listener and haven't heard most, then I would say it would be a pleasant surprise.

Doesn't look extremely exciting, whats with everyone suddenly playing Air Conditione?...

+1 - it just seems, expected. I read the tracklist and I didn't think it looked "bad" at all, there just wasn't anything on there where I said "Ooh, gotta hear this - looks different."

Will give it a shot just like his last Renaissance disc, but I'm hoping this one is far more satisfying than that one.

Tracklist seems alright with me...there are a bunch of songs I've heard and know are good, and a bunch of total unknowns for me as well. Specially looking forward to the new Pryda and 16 Bit Lolita's tracks.

Will definitely pick this up

It could very well surprise many, I just really enjoy it when Djs play me music I havn't heard before. Artists I havn't heard of = even better


Also, hopefully the mixing on this is a little more creative than his last Renaissance disc, which had some good tracks but the mixing was so bland and uninteresting it actually made the tracks sound worse imo.

Edit: a big to the transition between Rene and Rejection. As cringeworthy as it gets.

I've been listening to CD1 today, and he did some interesting things with the mixing. For example, there's an acapella thrown on top of "Mexico can Wait". Although "Mexico can Wait" has been hammered to death by everybody, this variation makes it something different, you know what I mean?

Indeed, Disc 2 is absolutely brilliant.

Pryda - Rene is awesome.
The new 16BL track is good as usual, but not great. It'll probably grow on me...

Wow!!!!!!!!!! This is one of the best comps I've heard this year.

IIRC he wasnt trying to mix all "unrealeased" tracks and what not bu rather to just make a mix that he likes that is of music that is good.
