Parliament Street festival

Well, I don't know exaclty what's going on, but I can see most of Parliament street closed off from my building. Starts at Wellesley and I can see almost as far as Carlton, maybe farther.

I'm going to check it out now, I'll let you know if there's anything worth checking out. BTW, it's been on all weekend

As the resident Beer Store employee on Parliament Street I would like to confirm that this street festival is just a giant waste of time.

Re: Re: Re: Parliament Street festival

the street festival itself is kind of lame, although I will never begrude a community that actually does SOMETHING together.

The art + craft show in Riverdale Farm is quite good though (it ran from Friday through Sunday). Lots of local and almost-local talent. Everything from art, photography, woodworking, glass, pottery, clothing, etc.

I spent about an hour walking through it yesterday and bought a few things
