That Ocean's 11 kind of track...

Okay don't kill me, I know this should probably be in track ID forum but I have no reference for it at all and I'm hoping someone knows it.

It's not a dance track, it reminds me a lot of the Ocean's series and kind of a mission impossible themed film.

It starts out with a walking acoustic bass-line, and then right before the breaky drums come in it goes "DUN(+-0 octave)..DUN(+1 octave)..DUN!(-2 octave)" with a trumpet or something of that nature. Kind of jazzy and "vegas". It's a really popular track, reminds me of that hip-hop track "Tonto's revenge" (Switch - A Bit Patchy). It's not fast, a walking track with a "bad-ass" vibe to it, something you'd see in mob/organized crime films.

Any help would be great, and ya, I know this shouldn't be here but...

Tomoyasu Hotei - Theme for Shin Jingi Naki Tatakai [or Battle Without Honor or Humanity, as it's listed elsewhere]

Battle Without Honour Or Humanity by Tomoyasu Hotei. Actually famous from the Kill Bill soundtrack.

EDIT: Damn. Too late.
EDIT2: The "breaky drums" are sampled from When The Levee Breaks by Led Zep.

lol. 5 minutes after I post that, a commercial comes on with that song playing.

I absolutely adore that song. The radio played several times on the anniversary of Katrina and you have to sit back and think about how prophetic it was for that city.

That track is also on Transformers

Anyone else agree with me and think that the music for Oceans 12 was brilliant? Wouldn't mind getting a list of songs used...

One of my favorite movie scenes ever, the tune fit so well with the scene. French rap rocks!

The single greatest track from any of the Oceans films would have to be Claude Debussy's Clair de Lune. Absolute win.

no, as much as i love clair de lune, it's all about Tess.
